Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible per diem shifts, 12.5 hours, various days as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes with clinical expertise
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Document patient assessments and interventions accurately
Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery goals

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
Previous PCU, step-down, or acute care experience preferred
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
ACLS certification preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in patient assessment and monitoring
Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and telemetry interpretation
Skilled in IV therapy and medication administration
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent time management in a fast-paced environment
