Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Intermittent on-call, weekends required as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain sterile operating room environments
Assist surgeons during procedures with precision and care
Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes
Coordinate with surgical team to ensure smooth workflow
Provide compassionate post-operative care and education

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in Iowa (or compact state)
BLS certification required
NIHSS certification required
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in aseptic and sterile techniques
Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment
Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Patient assessment and critical thinking abilities
