Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to critically ill neonates in a Level 3 NICU
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform life-saving interventions as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and respiratory therapists
• Educate and support families through the NICU journey, providing emotional reassurance and guidance
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in the EMR
• Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or a compact state
• Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience (required)
• Current NRP and BLS certifications
• Travel experience preferred
• Friendly, outgoing, and compassionate personality

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with Medfusion pumps, Alaris IV pumps, Giraffe isolettes, and GE monitors
• Experience with CPN and Meditech EMR systems
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of NICU patient care standards and protocols
• Ability to manage 3-4 patients per RN assignment
