Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU)
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, recognizing subtle changes and responding promptly
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
• Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed records

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Strong critical care background; open heart experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Excellent assessment and communication skills
