Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to adult patients on a medical-surgical unit with telemetry monitoring
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, intervening promptly to ensure patient safety
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to create individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on disease management and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa or compact license
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of med/surg nursing practices and telemetry monitoring
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in electronic health records and documentation
