Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals with medical and surgical needs
- Monitor patient vital signs, assess changes in condition, and report to physicians
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Previous Med/Surg or rehabilitation nursing experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach
