Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to medical and surgical patients throughout their stay
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions so nothing slips through the cracks
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and fellow nurses to build care plans that work
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and confidence
• Float between units to support teammates and expand your own clinical range
• Educate patients and families so they feel informed, empowered, and at ease
• Respond quickly and calmly when patient needs change

Qualifications

• Active nursing license, verifiable through Nursys, with license and certificate verification
• BLS certification required, with ACLS, PALS, and NRP as applicable
• Recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience that you are proud of
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and weekends
• Able to float between units and adapt to new teams with ease
• Up to date on compliance items including MMR and Varicella vaccination or attestation, fit test, TB test, and drug screening
• Available to attend the required orientation to qualify for this assignment

Education

• New candidates need to be able to attend orientation on 9/14 as well as work the strike on 9/15.
