Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient-centered care to a diverse Med/Surg and Oncology patient population
• Administer medications with precision and adherence to safety protocols, achieving high medication scanning accuracy
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting progress and communicating updates to the care team
• Collaborate with a supportive team of nurses, CNAs, and unit staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to Surg/Ortho & Rehab as needed to support hospital needs
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and care instructions

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR
• Chemotherapy certification (preferred)
• Ability to float to Surg/Ortho & Rehab units

• Strong clinical assessment skills

• Medication safety knowledge
• Comfort with electronic medical records (Meditech)
• Flexibility to work days or nights as unit needs change
