Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to diverse patients across multiple med-surg units
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless patient experiences
Monitor patient conditions and respond swiftly to changes in status
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery steps
Float between units as needed to support hospital-wide staffing needs

Qualifications

Active Rhode Island RN license or compact license
Current BLS certification
Strong assessment and clinical skills across medical-surgical settings
Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient populations

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in basic EKG interpretation
Solid pharmacology knowledge for safe medication administration
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable floating between multiple med-surg units
