Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days: To be confirmed, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC (overnight/night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality direct patient care during overnight shifts
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Monitor and assess patient status, recognizing changes and escalating when needed
Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate charts in the EHR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Respond promptly to patient needs and clinical emergencies during the shift
Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
Uphold infection control standards and facility policies to ensure safety

Qualifications

Active RN or LPN license in New Mexico (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
Previous acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work independently overnight
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or LPN diploma/certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and monitoring
Medication administration and documentation
Basic wound care and IV/line familiarity as applicable
Proficiency with electronic health records and charting
Ability to prioritize and manage patient load during night shifts
Strong interpersonal skills for patient and family communication
