Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, compassionate care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, responding quickly to any changes
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and emergency procedures
• Educate and support new parents on newborn care and breastfeeding
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for mom and baby
• Document patient care accurately and maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

• Active Idaho RN license (or compact license) required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required
• Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing preferred
• Must be comfortable with holiday and weekend rotations
• Proof of COVID-19 and Influenza vaccines required

• Expertise in fetal monitoring and interpretation
• Strong understanding of labor and delivery protocols
• Ability to stay calm and focused in high-stress situations
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Team-oriented mindset with adaptability
