Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to ensure the health of both mother and baby
• Assist with deliveries and provide support during emergency situations
• Educate new parents on newborn care and breastfeeding techniques
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create personalized birth plans

Qualifications

• Current Idaho RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• AWHONN and Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required
• Previous Labor and Delivery experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of maternal and fetal health assessment
• Proficiency in fetal heart monitoring interpretation
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations
• Team collaboration and critical thinking skills
