Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using electronic fetal monitoring and advanced assessment skills
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other obstetric procedures
• Deliver immediate newborn care to support a smooth transition for babies
• Respond quickly to high-risk obstetrical situations and collaborate with a dynamic team to ensure the best outcomes

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact state
• 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Current NRP, BLS/ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications
• High-risk obstetrics and immediate newborn care experience
• Circulating experience preferred - a great bonus!

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) with Phillips equipment
• Comfortable using Cerner EMR and Fetal Ink documentation
• Skilled with Baxter infusion pumps
• Strong understanding of high-risk L&D and maternal-fetal medicine
• Adaptable, outgoing, and team-focused with excellent communication skills
