Shift Type: Flexible 12.5-hour shifts as needed, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
Assist with deliveries and C-sections
Educate patients on postpartum care and infant feeding
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe outcomes
Document care accurately and timely in electronic medical records

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
NRP certification preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of obstetric nursing and fetal monitoring
Patient education and advocacy skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Teamwork and adaptability
Proficiency in electronic health records
