Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic status
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to create and adjust individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and recovery expectations
• Respond quickly to emergencies, code situations, and changes in patient condition
• Document accurately and champion patient safety and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa or a compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• ICU or critical care nursing experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work nights, every other weekend, and every other holiday
• Willingness to complete required health screenings, drug screen, and fit testing

• Expertise in critical care nursing and ICU patient management
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and hemodynamic monitoring
• Ventilator management and advanced cardiac life support
• Strong communication and collaboration in high-pressure settings
• Meticulous attention to detail and clinical documentation
