Location: Centennial, Colorado

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate emergency care across multiple facilities in the Zone 1 float pool
Assess and treat a wide variety of patients from abdominal pain to trauma and stroke
Administer standard ER medications and drips while monitoring patient response
Interpret telemetry strips and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless care
Perform Point of Care lab testing and assist with triage when needed
Float between Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, and other Zone 1 sites as assigned

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum one year of recent ER/ED experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret telemetry independently
Willingness to float throughout the 60-mile Zone 1 radius

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ER/ED clinical skills across varying trauma levels
Telemetry interpretation and rapid response capabilities
Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Comfort working with mixed patient populations and acuity levels
