Location: Pendleton, Oregon

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 12-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts including 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM, and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages
Collaborate with a dedicated team of physicians and support staff to deliver timely interventions
Manage a variety of ER cases with confidence and clinical expertise
Monitor patient conditions and respond swiftly to changes in status
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and next steps
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure seamless hand-offs during shift changes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Oregon or compact state
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum 2-3 years of recent ER nursing experience
Strong critical-thinking skills and ability to work independently

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Meditech EMR
Comfortable managing all aspects of ER care including triage when needed
Skilled in reading cardiac strips and monitoring telemetry
Able to handle a Level IV trauma setting with confidence
