Shift Type: Every other weekend, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM (12-hour night shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide acute emergency care to a high‑volume ER patient population
- Triage, assess, and prioritize incoming patients in fast‑paced environments
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and point‑of‑care labs according to protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Document all interventions and assessments accurately in EPIC
- Float between designated hospitals within a 60‑mile radius to meet staffing needs
- Maintain safe patient ratios of 1:4‑5 based on acuity
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Colorado
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
- Willingness and ability to float within a 60‑mile zone
- Availability for 12‑hour night shifts (3 PM‑3 AM)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Emergency nursing assessment and triage
- Trauma, cardiac, and stroke care protocols
- Use of EPIC electronic medical record system
- IV insertion and medication administration
- Point‑of‑care laboratory testing
- Interpretation of telemetry and monitor data
- Rapid decision‑making in high‑stress situations
