Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
• Monitor patients closely during procedures, tracking vital signs and sedation levels to ensure safety
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide clear education to patients and their families before and after
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care that meets organizational standards
• Utilize specialized nursing knowledge to adapt care to the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of each patient

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland (compact accepted; must be willing to obtain Maryland license if needed)
• At least 2 years of recent Endoscopy nursing experience required
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification within 48 hours if offered
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Flexibility to work the facility's schedule without restrictions, including adherence to the start date
