Registered Nurse – UHC Staffing

Location: Claremont, New Hampshire

Start Date: 06-16-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC, 3x16-hour shifts, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 80

Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Observe residents continuously and alert supervisors to changes in mental and physical well-being
Administer medications and treatments accurately while maintaining detailed electronic documentation
Supervise LNAs and assign nursing staff care consistent with their abilities and scope of practice
Accompany physicians on rounds to address residents' medical needs and facilitate communication
Perform wound care including wound vacs and administer oxygen and gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings
Admit, discharge, and transfer residents while completing all necessary documentation
Communicate with residents' families to resolve concerns and obtain consent when needed
Manage assigned unit during shift under direction of Nursing Supervisor or Director of Nursing Services

Qualifications

Active New Hampshire nursing license required
IV certification or willingness to obtain during onboarding
3+ years current experience within the last 6 months
COVID vaccination required - declinations not accepted
Previous travel experience highly preferred
Rural or small facility experience highly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and electronic documentation
Resident assessment and supervision of LNAs
Wound care and wound vac management
IV therapy and oxygen administration
Gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings
Infection control practices and regulatory compliance
