Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients in the Cardiovascular Lab
• Support the psychosocial, physical and general care needs of patients in the surgical environment
• Communicate continuously with physicians about changes in patient condition
• Monitor and record physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Assess procedure room and equipment readiness before every case
• Obtain supplies for individual cases and keep the Cardiovascular Lab team fully equipped
• Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory so the lab always runs smoothly
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Active state Registered Nursing (RN) license
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification
• Current ACLS certification upon hire, maintained throughout the assignment
• At least one (1) year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, not required
• Comfortable working with adult and geriatric patient populations

• Confident with hemodynamic and physiologic data monitoring
