Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem nights (days vary), 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts
Perform timely assessments and document findings accurately
Administer medications and treatments safely and per policy
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
Respond to clinical changes and escalate concerns appropriately
Support patients and families with clear communication and empathy
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and charting

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (RN preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS as applicable or preferred
Minimum clinical experience in acute care or similar setting preferred
Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
Ability to work independently on night shifts and collaborate with team members

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and monitoring skills
Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation best practices
Infection control and safety principles
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively during busy shifts
