Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care that makes a real difference
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient status closely
• Activate and lead ACLS protocols and emergency interventions when required
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to coordinate treatment plans
• Complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and skills checklists to ensure high standards
• Adhere to infection control, immunization, and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Iowa (license/certificate verification required)
• BLS required; ACLS required
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings: Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, Varicella, and 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
• Fit test and Trinity color vision as required by role
• Negative Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and a completed Physical/Health Statement
• Previous clinical nursing experience preferred

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Solid knowledge of ACLS algorithms and resuscitation procedures
• Proficient documentation and electronic medical record skills
• Effective communication and teamwork under pressure
• Understanding of infection prevention, vaccinations, and occupational health requirements
• Willingness to complete competency testing and ongoing skills validation
