Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment, then transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation
• Unload portable X-ray equipment and take it into facilities to perform physician-ordered exams, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation
• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol
• Communicate regularly with dispatch and management, and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients
• Maintain the vehicle and X-ray equipment to keep everything ready for action

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification required
• Active California State License required (or ability to obtain)
• Valid driver's license in the applicable state and in good standing
• COVID-19 vaccination required, or approved exemption with documentation
• Ability to push/pull equipment weighing 50-100 lbs, with assistance available via vehicle ramps and pulleys

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in portable digital radiography (DR) and computed radiography (CR)
• X-Ray imaging and EKG acquisition skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Comfort with independent work and autonomy in the field
• Time management and organization for daily paperwork and billing
