Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour day shifts, 35 guaranteed weekly hours, no weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care using evidence-based practice
Develop and adjust individualized plans of care to help patients regain independence
Administer therapeutic procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, and modalities
Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in electronic medical records
Supervise and support physical therapist assistants and students

Qualifications

At least 1 year of Physical Therapy experience
Experience in Long Term Care or Rehabilitation settings
Active Missouri State License as a Physical Therapist
Strong clinical documentation skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Knowledge & Skills

Patient evaluation and treatment planning
Rehabilitation and wound care techniques
Manual therapy and therapeutic exercise
Use of supportive and assistive devices
Regulatory and clinical practice standards
