Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour day shifts, 35 guaranteed weekly hours

Roles & Responsibilities

Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care
Develop appropriate plan of care following regulatory and clinical standards
Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions
Administer manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care
Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
Communicate effectively with healthcare team regarding patient progress and treatment plans
Provide comprehensive discharge summary of services provided
Accurately document all regulatory and clinical information in electronic system
Attend required meetings, trainings, and in-services
Supervise physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students
Adhere to APTA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience
New graduates considered with Level II clinical experience
Long Term Care or Rehab experience required
Active Oklahoma State Physical Therapy License
Wound care experience preferred

Manual therapy techniques
Therapeutic exercise prescription

Patient evaluation and treatment planning

Clinical documentation
Long term care and rehabilitation practices
