Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation
Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring they meet imaging requirements and providing instruction to minimize anxiety
Apply principles of nuclear medicine safety to minimize risk to patients, yourself, and others
Operate nuclear medicine equipment and position patients to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest
Administer radioactive isotopes and perform venipuncture as needed
Evaluate images for technical quality and process data for display
Document all procedure information in electronic medical records and maintain accurate records
Assist with PET services as needed

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program (education verification required)
Current CNMT or ARRT(N) certification required
AHA BLS certification required
Prior experience in nuclear medicine preferred

Education

Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in nuclear medicine procedures and radiopharmaceutical administration
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to operate imaging equipment and PACS systems
Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
