Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment, transmitting images to radiologists for interpretation
• Unload portable X-ray equipment and bring it into facilities to perform physician-ordered exams
• Capture clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-ray images in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing facilities, prisons, and home health
• Perform EKGs when required and transmit results to cardiologists for interpretation
• Scan and submit exam paperwork and billing documents on a daily basis
• Maintain regular communication with dispatch and management to coordinate schedules
• Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients to ensure high-quality patient care
• Maintain the vehicle and X-ray equipment in clean, working order

Qualifications

• Active ARRT Certification and required state licenses (Delaware and Maryland licenses required)
• Valid driver's license in the applicable state and in good current standing at all times
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
• Ability to meet health requirements and operational standards
• Physical capability to push/pull equipment, with up to 50-100 lbs of force needed multiple times a day
• Comfortable working in varied environments, including nursing homes, correctional facilities, and home health settings

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in X-Ray imaging techniques
• EKG administration and interpretation support
• Experience with Digital Radiography (DR) and Computed Radiography (CR)
• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and clients
• Ability to work independently and manage a mobile schedule
• Knowledge of safety protocols and portable equipment handling
