Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams with accuracy and compassion
• Ensure imaging quality by conducting routine quality assurance checks on equipment
• Position patients comfortably and explain procedures to ease anxiety
• Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to support accurate diagnoses
• Maintain precise patient records and imaging documentation in line with regulations
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols to keep everyone safe

Qualifications

• Registered in Mammography (ARRT or equivalent certification required)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or similar
• Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen and background check
• Up-to-date immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB, Varicella, and Tdap
• Completion of a physical/health statement and fit test as required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of screening and diagnostic mammography techniques
• Proficiency in quality assurance procedures and equipment maintenance
• Excellent patient communication and a caring bedside manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Comfort with electronic health records and imaging systems
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and safety
