Location: Mount Olive, NC

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days vary, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (day shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to assigned patients
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes promptly
Document patient care clearly and timely in the chart
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans
Promote patient safety and adhere to infection control standards
Educate patients and families to support recovery and self-care
Respond to emergencies and escalate concerns to the appropriate provider

Qualifications

Active LPN or RN license (eligible to practice in North Carolina)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
Previous clinical experience in a similar care setting preferred
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered mindset
Ability to work 12.5-hour day shifts and manage a fast-paced workload

Education

LPN: Graduation from an accredited LPN/LVN program
RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in medication administration and nursing assessments
Proficient documentation and charting practices
Knowledge of patient safety and infection control principles
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work collaboratively
Compassionate bedside manner and strong patient education skills
