Location: Mount Olive, NC

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Day shift (days vary)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care with professionalism and heart
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely within your scope
Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition clearly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
Educate patients and families to support recovery and wellness
Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and best practices

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted LPN or RN license for North Carolina
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working per diem shifts and adapting to varying patient needs
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Professional references and clear background/health screenings as required

Education

LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (diploma or certificate)
RN: Graduate of an accredited Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and vital signs monitoring
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
Patient education and family communication skills
Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
