Location: Mount Olive, NC

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
Administer medications, treatments, and document patient responses accurately
Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to the care team
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to support patient outcomes
Assist with admissions, discharges, and care transitions with attention to detail
Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold patient safety and infection control standards

Qualifications

Active LPN license in North Carolina (RN candidates with appropriate license welcome)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or ability to obtain promptly
Demonstrated ability to work independently on per diem assignments and adapt quickly
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first mindset
Prior clinical experience preferred but new graduates with strong clinical training encouraged to apply

Education

Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program (or equivalent for RN candidates)
High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
Medication administration and accurate documentation practices
Basic wound care and assistance with ADLs
Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
