Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care in a long-term care setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
• Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the care team to update care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Completed COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Must bring a state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and dosage calculations
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Wound care and basic nursing procedures
• Electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
