Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate and personalized nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions, reporting changes promptly
  • Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and post-care instructions
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff

Qualifications

  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Maine
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required
  • Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or an approved exemption
  • Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting is a plus
  • Must be able to pass background checks and provide required identification

Knowledge & Skills

  • Solid knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
