Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Evening shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and personalized nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions, reporting changes promptly
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
- Educate patients and their families on health management and post-care instructions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Maine
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or an approved exemption
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting is a plus
- Must be able to pass background checks and provide required identification
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
