Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse during overnight shifts
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document medication records thoroughly
• Monitor patient conditions, report changes promptly, and escalate concerns to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
• Perform routine assessments, wound care, and assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic documentation and follow facility policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) licensure — must be valid for New Mexico or appropriate for the facility
• Ability to work the assigned night shift schedule (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
• Current basic life support (BLS) preferred or willingness to obtain prior to start (if required by facility)
• Clear background checks and required health/immunization documentation per facility policy
• Professional, reliable, and a team player who communicates clearly with patients and staff

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program (diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and basic nursing skills appropriate to LPN scope
• Medication administration and IV/shot familiarity per facility protocols
• Patient charting and electronic health record documentation
• Infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced clinical settings
