Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Casa De Oro Center
Perform timely medication administration and accurate documentation
Conduct routine assessments and communicate changes to the care team
Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to implement care plans
Assist with activities of daily living and promote resident dignity and independence
Maintain safe infection-control practices and follow facility policies

Qualifications

Current, active LPN license (licensed practical nurse) — New Mexico licensure preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Comfortable with medication administration, basic assessments, and charting
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Previous long-term care or facility experience a plus but new grads with clinical skills are welcome

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program; high school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing assessments and documentation
Competence with medication administration and resident care procedures
Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to changes in resident condition
Familiarity with infection control and resident safety practices
Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
