Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care with compassion and clinical accuracy
- Administer medications and treatments per care plans and facility policy
- Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes promptly
- Collaborate with the care team to implement and adjust treatment plans
- Support patients and families with clear communication and empathy
- Maintain accurate records and follow infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — required
- Available for a local contract starting 2026-03-02 through 2026-04-13 (7 weeks)
- Comfortable working the 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM day shift
- Local candidates only (per job notes)
Education
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program; high school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and patient observation skills
- Medication administration and documentation proficiency
- Effective communication and teamwork in a multidisciplinary setting
- Ability to follow facility protocols, safety, and infection control
- Time management for delivering quality care during longer day shifts
