Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents at Sandia Ridge Center
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to create and implement care plans
• Perform routine assessments and participate in interdisciplinary care rounds
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and follow-up needs
• Support a positive, respectful environment that promotes dignity and quality of life

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN license for New Mexico (required)
• Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Ability to pass background check and comply with facility immunization requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Local candidates only (position notes indicate LOCAL ONLY)

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN / Vocational Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of medication administration and documentation
• Skilled in patient assessment and basic clinical procedures
• Comfortable using electronic health records and charting accurately
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and teammates
• Good time management and ability to prioritize care during busy shifts
