Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as an LPN on assigned units
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the medical record
- Monitor patient status, report changes promptly, and collaborate with the care team
- Support activities of daily living and promote patient comfort and dignity
- Assist with admission, transfer and discharge processes to ensure smooth transitions
- Participate in care planning and patient education to promote positive outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain promptly)
- Comfortable administering medications and performing routine nursing procedures
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work the scheduled days (Sun, Fri, Sat) and maintain reliable attendance
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program (diploma or certificate)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of basic nursing principles and LPN scope of practice
- Proficient in medication administration and documentation
- Familiarity with electronic health records and charting best practices
- Good assessment and clinical observation skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage patients, families and the care team
