Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist and scrub for interventional radiology procedures, including vascular and neuro interventions
• Prepare procedure rooms, instruments, and imaging equipment to ensure smooth case flow
• Monitor patients during procedures and support the team with patient positioning, sterile technique, and safety protocols
• Maintain accurate procedure documentation in clinical systems such as EPIC, Synapse, and StarTrack
• Participate in on-call rotation, covering weekends and assigned weekday call as scheduled
• Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and required health screenings
• Perform instrument processing and inventory management to uphold procedural readiness
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and techs to continuously improve patient care and procedural efficiency

Qualifications

• CT DPH License required
• BLS certification required
• Experience in both vascular and neuro interventional cases, with neuro experience imperative
• Comfort with on-call responsibilities, including every-other-weekend rotation and occasional holiday coverage
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist or willingness to complete as part of onboarding
• Ability to complete required health screenings and vaccinations prior to start

Knowledge & Skills

• Interventional Radiology fundamentals and intra-procedural support
• Vascular and Neuro interventional case workflows and instrumentation
• Familiarity with EPIC, Synapse, and StarTrack; training is provided if needed
• Strong sterile technique, patient monitoring, and radiation safety awareness
• Proven ability to function calmly during high-acuity procedures and on-call situations
• Competence with skills validation tools such as Trinity Skills Checklist
