Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert direction and guidance to hospital staff on policies, procedures, and problem-solving
Organize workflow and ensure staff excel in their duties and delegated tasks
Monitor employee productivity while delivering constructive feedback and coaching
Take charge of supervision and administrative decisions alongside clinical leaders and the CNO
Collaborate closely with charge nurses and support staff to optimize patient flow
Address patient and family concerns with compassion and efficiency

Qualifications

Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Montana
CPR required, ACLS and PALS required or obtainable within 6 months
Minimum 3 years RN experience in a hospital setting with recent ICU experience

Education

Degree from a Nursing Program

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced nursing principles, post-operative and medical patient care
Strong cardiac monitoring background
Proficiency with basic office equipment, multiple IV pumps, and advanced medical equipment like A-lines, invasive lines, chest tubes, and ventilators
Exceptional leadership, people skills, and customer service orientation
Flexibility, independent and critical thinking, ability to handle busy workloads and develop special projects
Experience across patient ages from infancy to geriatrics, plus patient flow, resource nursing, and leadership
