Shift Type: Sunday, September 6, 2026, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to geriatric residents, assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
- Take and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to nursing staff
- Assist with meals and hydration, monitoring nutritional intake
- Engage residents in activities and conversations that promote dignity and social connection
- Partner with the healthcare team to maintain accurate documentation and deliver quality care
Qualifications
- Active Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or per facility requirements
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required per facility policy
- Prior long-term care or geriatric experience is a plus
- A compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented mindset is essential
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Effective communication with residents, families, and the care team
- Observation skills to detect changes in condition
- Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
