Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to geriatric residents, assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
• Take and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to nursing staff
• Assist with meals and hydration, monitoring nutritional intake
• Engage residents in activities and conversations that promote dignity and social connection
• Partner with the healthcare team to maintain accurate documentation and deliver quality care

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or per facility requirements
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required per facility policy
• Prior long-term care or geriatric experience is a plus
• A compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented mindset is essential
