Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support safe mobility and transfers, helping residents maintain independence
- Observe and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff promptly
- Provide nourishing meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
- Offer compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents and their families
- Document care provided accurately and follow care plans
Qualifications
- Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- COVID-19 vaccination or an approved medical or religious exemption
- Must be able to pass a background check and health screening
- Must bring a state or federally issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
- Previous long-term care experience is a plus, but not required
Knowledge & Skills
- A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Clear communication with residents, families, and the care team
- Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity for resident support
- Knowledge of safety, infection prevention, and HIPAA practices
