Location: Brooklyn Park, MD

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Schedule varies, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (night shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered care to older adults
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and document resident conditions, behaviors, and any changes
Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and the care team to support continuity of care
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Support mealtime assistance and ensure residents receive proper nutrition and hydration

Qualifications

Current GNA certification required
Comfortable working night shift hours (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass facility-required background check and health screenings
Friendly, patient, and respectful approach to working with older adults

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an approved GNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of resident care and activities of daily living
Good documentation and basic charting skills
Ability to follow care plans and communicate observations clearly
Team player mindset with strong interpersonal skills
Basic infection control and safety awareness
