Location: Baltimore, MD

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Varied days as scheduled (per diem), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (day)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities to promote dignity and comfort
Provide compassionate, hands-on support during personal care routines
Monitor residents’ needs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through kindness and consistency
Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification or equivalent
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Demonstrated compassion and patience working with older adults
Ability to follow care plans and facility procedures accurately
Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills relevant to resident care and personal assistance
Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with nursing staff
Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition
Familiarity with infection control and safety best practices
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
