Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting with dignity and respect
Provide safe, compassionate hands-on care under the direction of nursing staff
Monitor and report changes in residents health status promptly and accurately
Support mobility and fall prevention efforts through attentive assistance
Document care activities clearly and legibly in the patient record
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to promote a positive environment

Qualifications

Active GNA or equivalent state certification (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Comfortable working with geriatric populations and supporting ADLs
Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
Background check and any state-required registry clearance

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
GNA/CNA certification as required by the state

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care techniques and safe transfer/lift practices
Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
Ability to observe, record, and report patient changes
Compassionate interpersonal skills and patience with older adults
Time management to complete assigned tasks within shift
Basic charting and documentation habits
