Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist and scrub during EP and implant procedures, contributing to safe, efficient cases
• Operate and troubleshoot Philips imaging equipment during procedures
• Monitor patients and support hemodynamic/arrhythmia monitoring (familiarity with Claris is a plus)
• Document procedures and patient data accurately in Meditech EMR
• Collaborate closely with RNs, anesthesia, and supervising staff to maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and high standards of care
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and supplies to ensure procedure readiness
• Participate in a fast-paced lab with a sense of urgency while keeping patient safety front and center

Qualifications

• ARRT or RCES certification required
• Minimum 2 years of allied tech experience (candidates without this will not be considered)
• Preferred: 2+ years scrubbing experience in EP or cath lab procedures
• Preferred experience monitoring with Claris and working with Philips equipment
• Comfortable working in a busy EP Lab with high procedural volume and a 1:1 patient ratio

Education

• ARRT or RCES certification required; associate degree or relevant allied health education preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of EP lab workflows and standard implant procedures (all EP ablations except VT, Watchman procedures)
• Experience with Philips imaging equipment
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR documentation
• Monitor experience (Claris preferred)
• Excellent sterile technique and procedural scrub skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with a sense of urgency
