Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered dental hygiene care
- Perform dental cleanings and comprehensive oral health assessments
- Educate patients on preventive care and proper oral hygiene techniques
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Accurately document patient care and maintain confidentiality
- Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong clinical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous dental hygiene experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization standards
- Familiarity with dental software and patient record documentation
- Understanding of oral health assessment and preventive care techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse patients
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
