Location: Tuba City, Arizona

Start Date: 08-24-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: All shifts, 36 hours per week, includes weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients in a 5-bed ICU
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage life-support equipment
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to develop care plans
Float to Emergency Department, Med/Surg, or Pediatrics when census is low
Manage post-operative recovery for surgical and OB patients as needed
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience required
Active, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state, Puerto Rico, or territory
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA
TCAR and NIHSS certifications must be obtained within 6 months of start
Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environments

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in critical care nursing and ICU protocols
Proficiency in ACLS, BLS, PALS, TCAR, and NIHSS
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to float to ED, Med/Surg, and Peds units
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
