Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images for timely patient care
• Prepare and position patients safely and compassionately, including IV placement when needed
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the care team to ensure accurate imaging and reporting
• Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation in EPIC and Fuji Synapse PACS
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and departmental policies at all times
• Support outpatient coverage and, when needed, float within Zone 3 facilities
• Contribute to a positive patient experience in a high-volume, trauma-level 1 environment

Qualifications

• Certified CT Technologist — ARRT (CT) required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience
• Comfortable with IV placement and patient preparation
• Experience with GE and/or Siemens CT scanners preferred
• Experience using EPIC and Fuji Synapse PACS preferred
• Driver’s license required (60-mile radius requirement; DL must be submitted)
• Available and in-state for the week of orientation; willing to work weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Experience using PACS (Fuji Synapse) and EMR/charting in EPIC
• Strong patient care and communication skills for diverse populations
• Ability to manage a steady volume (approximately 25 studies/day) with attention to detail
• Familiarity with trauma-level 1 workflows and acute care imaging
• Competence in radiation safety, infection control, and departmental procedures
